Extreme Duty Bucket is intended for exceptionally demanding excavation and loading conditions involving severe abrasion, high impact and dense rock. It is typically considered where service conditions exceed the intended duty level of general-purpose, heavy-duty or severe-duty bucket configurations.

“Extreme duty” is a manufacturer-dependent design classification rather than a universal standard. Selection should be based on carrier size, rock properties, expected wear pattern, bucket capacity, wear protection, tooth system and the excavator’s attachment interface.
